St. Paul, MN Winter Carnival Ice Palace (Jan 21 - Feb 8, 2004)
See instructions at bottom of page on how to order all 108 original full-sized high resolution photos for only $10.00

In January 2004, the St. Paul, Minnesota Winter Carnival featured an Ice Palace (a huge building built from blocks of ice).  This photo album contains 108 digital photos of the Ice Palace and its compound from harvesting the ice through construction.  It also contains photos of the completed ice palace and grounds taken at various times of the day.  This series of photos contains shots of the entire Ice Palace grounds including: ice palace, exterior walls around grounds, NHL skating rink, fire and ice fountain and ice sculptured statues, ring of thrones, outdoor band shell, light show, and more. The ice palace is constructed using 27,000 blocks of ice harvested from a local lake.  Each block weighs over 400 pounds.  It was built in just over two weeks by over 700 volunteers.  I took over 350 photos between January 10th through January 24th and selected 108 of them for this album.  Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find out how you can get a copy of this album for yourself to use as a screen saver or for other uses.

Want All The Above Photos? (Great for Screen Saver Use)
Yes, the photos are still available as long as this page is active

My photos of the Winter Carnival Ice Palace became too popular!!!  These photos started receiving over 50 hits per second.  It began costing me a fortune in extra bandwidth fees.  For that reason, I reluctantly removed Internet access to the full-sized photos.  However, you can still get copies of the full-sized versions of these photos on a CD-ROM disk (I cannot e-mail them to you because even a zipped file would be too large for most e-mail systems).  Here is what you will receive on the CD-ROM:

Cost = $10.00 (includes shipping and handling to USA addresses)
Your cost is less than 3 cents per photo

Add $10 for high resolution photo files in TIFF, BMP, PCX, or PSD format (state desired format when ordering)
You get all three sets described above plus the high resolution photo files in you chosen format - all for the low price of $20.00
