The Official SPAM Museum is located in Austin, Minnesota where SPAM is produced by Hormel, Inc. In August 2005 our family toured the museum. It was very interesting and the admission is free.
SPAM luncheon meat was first produced in 1937 and continues to be popular worldwide. I still eat SPAM myself quite often. In fact, my favorite restaurant in St. Paul Minnesota does not have SPAM listed on their menu, but I can order a SPAM and cheese omelet or other SPAM dishes. They keep it available because many of their customers like SPAM.
