American Diabetes Association "Tour de Cure" for Diabetes
Minneapolis, MN (Photos of previous tours)

Each year in the spring, participants in the Minneapolis Tour de Cure enjoy a scenic route around the lakes and rivers of Minneapolis Minnesota.   Participants have a choice of a 5 mile family route, or 25, or 45 mile rides.  All routes are circular so that the start and finish are located in the same place which made it easier for a variety of logistics issues.

I usually ride my tricycle on the 25-mile route.  I wish to thank all of my relatives, friends and other sponsors who support me on this ride.  I enjoy the ride and your contributions help make this a very successful fund raising event for this important cause (finding a cure for diabetes)..

Thank you for supporting my fundraising efforts. Your tax-deductible gifts do make a difference to the over 20 million Americans who suffer from diabetes and the 16 million people in the United States with Pre-Diabetes.

I take many photos before and during this event.  I post the best ones here for your enjoyment.  Click on the small photo to see the large captioned photo, then click the "back" button on your browser to return to this page.  These photos will give you a sense of what a beautiful and bike friendly place Minnesota is.
